2013 New Facebook News Feed – Join the Bandwagon!

We earlier talked about the latest design of Facebook News Feed in 2013. There are plethora of changes which according to Mark Zuckerberg expectations will bring advertisers and users more close to Facebook.

As the news was unveiled on Thursday ( 7th March, 2013) many expected it to start rolling in further coming days. But as in US and other countries, it was not to be. So if you want to join the bandwagon of the fresh Facebook look in News Feed you need to subscribe to its waiting list.

That page will describe in detail about the surprises that Facebook is going to bring in 2013. But in order to try earlier the new News Feed look, you need to subscribe to the link at the bottom.

Just as soon as you think, you are allowed to change the News Feed look in Facebook, you are caught on the wrong-foot. You are greeted with a confirmation message like this.

As you can see the message, Facebook will inform us when you can try out the new look. Until then you can have a look about the new features it is going to bring about advertising friendly design of 2013.

The clutter is much less. You can search for people, places and things. On the left hand side, you can see Windows 8 charms bar kind of thing.

Vibrant new visuals bring News feed to life. Each story in the News Feed is reconfigured to put the emphasis on what your friends are sharing.

You can get Fresh Feeds. You also have the choice of feeds. If you want only Photos or Music you can do the same.

You can find a clean look wherever you go. Whether it is mobile, tablet, web or desktop, you find the same clean same appearance and interface everywhere.

    How do you revert to the old version? I was just getting used to their last major change (timeline)!!! Grrrr…..
